Recent graduate from UBC in a Combined Computer Science and Mathematics degree with the coop option. I have had work terms at Telus, Shell Canada, PMC-Sierra and RP4K, all utilizing the technical knowledge I have learned from classes and assignment work.
I am currently working at the Alberta Law Libraries where I am designing and implementing a multi-layered websites to unify many of the intranets and internet sites that exist for the different libraries. I also research, do proof of concept and implement new technologies to improve coworker productivity and efficiency in their work.
In my spare time, I am a part of the Dawnbreakers Toastmaster club where I am working on my ATM Bronze Level, giving speeches to 20+ club members and taking on various leadership roles in meetings. Currently I am also helping mentor a new club (Core Development Toastmasters Club) by not only attending their meetings but also helping out with roles or providing feedback wherever possible.
