My roll at Strasburg is a fluid one. Currently I head up the IT department, but my responsibilities cross department lines.

I drive and manage all aspects of technology for the corporate office and 80+ Strasburg Children retail locations nationwide. This includes managing the tech support (internal and external), nationwide rollouts (hardware, software, broadband, etc), intranet development, keeping everyone running and online, and working to develop new and innovative systems.

Recently I have moved back into more of an active roll in the Marketing department, heading up our new online strategy, which should be visible soon.

I also work side by side with the other leaders in the company as more of a Business Analyst, on a daily basis, as we lay out our plans for moving Strasburg to the next level.

Current Projects:

Relaunching the Strasburg brand online through a new ecommerce site, targeted SEO, and social media channels. Working closely with the Marketing department to unify our brand and message both online and in stores. Expected: May 2009.

Part of leadership team working to move our brand into international markets though franchising and licensing. Expected: Late 2009 - Early 2010.

Changing our company's internal communication and collaboration by rolling out our second generation intranet based on Google Apps and other cloud based computing services. Expected April 2009.

Working with outside vendor to develop and launch enterprise wide, SaaS, point of sale/inventory control system that will unify all sales channels. Expected Summer 2009.
