As a writer and columnist, my goal is to write passionately about a variety of topics that have always held my interest - architecture, interior design, art, fashion, beauty, health and travel - all part of living a stylish life.
Although my primary writing is journalism for various Canadian newspapers, magazines and websites, I have worked on corporate writing projects from in-house publications to website development.
I am a co-author of Pulse Guides' Cool Cities series: The Night + Day Guide to Toronto published in March 2008. Every month I update the website with what's cool about Toronto restaurants, nightclubs, festivals and attractions.

January 2000 — Present (10 years )
I became a freelance writer in 2000, after six years working in book publishing in publicity and marketing. I have written for newspaper, magazine, online publications as well as completed corporate projects - custom magazines, websites and promotional materials.
My main focus is on my journalism. I began writing for The National Post and CanWest News Service in 2000 and now have contributed to several magazines including Life & Fashion, Canadian House & Home, VIA RAIL Destinations, Access, Zoomer, Toronto Life, Best Health and several custom publications.
I contribute regularly to two online publications - LipstickLifestyle/LipstickPowdernPaint and Style North and I'm focused on increasing my writing for websites and blogs. I'm the co-author of the Night + Day Guide to Toronto (Pulse Guides) and every month update the website on what's happening in Toronto. On September 1st, I've launched my own travel magazine/blog Gone to Swan.
I have a broad range of interests, but mainly focus on lifestyle - what you wear, what you put on your skin, what you ingest, what you surround your self within your home and where you take your body on this planet. Fashion, beauty, food/health, pop culture, interior design and travel are all favourite subjects that I've had the pleasure to research and write about in my career.
