November 2008 — Present (1 year 1 month)
After selling Seemage to Dassault Systems I spent a year getting the company integrated and the sales channels successfully selling the product which was renamed www.3DVIAComposer.com. The year I spent as part of the DS executive team was fantastic. At my one year anniversary I decided to leave to pursue other startup opportunities (if you know of any please look me up).
In parallel to looking at new startup opportunities I am working with a team that is exploring how design teams communicate. The team believes that social networking can be applied at a design team level and is developing a set of prototypes to test this idea. Visit the project at www.vuuch.com. The site will be a living site in that it will constantly change based on where we are with our prototypes.

Dassault Systemes www.3ds.com acquired Seemage late in 2007. The Seemage product line has been repackaged as 3DVIA Composer www.3dviacomposer.com and will be sold through all DS channels. Currently my role focuses on two main themes, establish Composer throughout the DS channels and establish a footprint for the new 3DVIA business unit.

Seemage is a VC backed software startup in the PLM space. Hired by the board to build Seemage into a positive force within the PLM market. Grew revenue 4X year over year and developed Seemage as a worldwide known name in the PLM market. Ultimately Dassault Systems acquired the company in a competitive bidding situation and renamed the product to 3DVIA Composer.
