Vlad has now taken his creative, production, entrepreneurial and operational skills to the video-centric music business LP33.tv which launched in beta at the end of 2008 to much acclaim in the press. The site is developing and establishing itself aggressively and quickly.
Vlad is an experienced Executive, having launched channels (creatively, operationally, commercially) for both large conglomerates (MTV, UPC) in the UK and in Europe, as well as smaller, entrepreneurial businesses. Vlad has also had a number of high profile creative roles at companies as diverse at LWT (ITV), Universal Studios and The Betting Channel (Avago). Vlad has also worked entrepreneurially with a number of new media ventures as well as acting as a consultant.

The University of Bedfordshire has one of the leading Media Faculties in the UK. My role includes; assessing Graduate and post Graduate courses; giving student lectures; work with the University on research projects, and to act as an international ambassador for the Faculty.

Joined this revolutionary music start-up whilst pre-funded and was instrumental in shaping the offering, taking a lead role in launching the site and its US/LA HQ. The site soft launched Oct 08. As de facto right-hand to the CEO I lead a number of cross-business initiatives, including partnerships and business development on top of being instrumental in general management and development. Worked closely with the CEO on a successful Series B funding placement of $6 Million (US/ Silicon Valley) and have been instrumental in the ongoing development of strategy. The site was launched on time, under budget and is currently on track with the business plan with a recent 300% traffic growth.
Day-to-day specific responsibilities include:
All editorial inc. ‘TV channels’ / TV programming and in-house production operation; programming syndication, IPTV Channels, VOD etc; guiding the consumer offering; Marketing & PR (viral, traditional, events etc) ; Brand and Site creative; Business Development; planning and executing the upcoming international roll out; all consumer facing areas.
Within 3 months of launch my programming was being carried by 3rd party TV networks.

Product ‘Play Platinum’ is a global online, web TV and satellite TV based entertainment gaming product with associated retail, accounts and CRM back office. I developed the product; creatively; operationally; budgets and all systems from technical infrastructure & web broadcasting through to marketing strategies, investor documentation & conference presentations etc
Created sophisticated BP and successfully raised significant phase 1 funds with Ariadne Capital. Signed multiple distribution agreements (multiple platforms inc. IPTV) and brought it to launch readiness. Originally I launched MC3 as a consultancy with clients inc. Motorola and William Hill.

A wide ranging role reporting to the MD, involved in all aspects of restructuring, running and growing an expanding gambling interactive business, covering the areas of TV, iTV, eTV, mobile and internet.
Responsibilities include:
• Development: Interactive applications, web TV, mobile products as well as formatting and reformatting of enhanced TV formats (also delivery and associated logistics).
• Business Development: Develop, negotiate and manage on-going partnerships (UK focused).
• Run a focused Marketing and Customer Services team (10 people) with an emphasis on direct customer contact (CRM) based on sophisticated data mining of interactive information.

Day-to-day manager of this start up iTV broadcaster & web retail business. Focus was on the launch of an innovative channel on Sky and building a web business. Many of my concepts later widely copied in this iTV sector.

Creatively & logistically ran all TV productions in Poland & the UK for the station which became the platform’s best performer. The (re)launch of the channel, increased audience share from1% to 3.5%, whilst shows like my ‘telenovela’ peaked at 6%. Series repeated on terrestrial were always hits. I reported directly to the channel MD, oversaw an in-house tea of 30 and managed productions through a number of companies.

Reporting to Bob Massie and Nigel Lythgoe, my role was to help LWT develop expertise in youth and multi-channel. Worked on, and pitched a years worth of offers to ITV & others – this included initial work on Popstars, as well as a number of other successes. Production credits inc. ITV2 Launch, ITV producer MTV Awards 1998, pre-production of two Ch.4 youth docu-soaps & Millennium Events.

‘Hard’ launched the station, moving from a weekly programming block to a full blown 24 hr channel.
I took Atomic from 7th to 2nd in the Polish cable music market, just behind MTV. Direct report to MD.
Responsibilities included:

• Control of; content, schedule, commissions, in-house production team (35) & branding
• Created; Business structures, department structures, western working methods & training programmes
• Separately I also worked for Atomic shareholders on numerous occasions, including on the BP, and the productions for, a start-up terrestrial station in Romania.
Atomic TV was a music & youth entertainment station founded by Bob Geldof & US entrepreneurs, in conjunction with Planet 24. The channel was later bought by Viacom & re-branded as MTV Polska.
