CTO at Phykon
India
I have been into developing for about eight years roughly, which includes 2 years with my previous employer and my current position as CTO at Phykon Solutions, of which I am one of the Directors as well. It also includes around 3~4 years as a pure hobbyist coder and another 1~2 years as a freelancer for local projects.
I have been into languages starting from Basic, C, C++, VB, Ada, Java, Euphoria, Perl, PHP and Ruby. Of the above my strongest skills are in C++, VB, Java and PHP. I have been primarily into the desktop side of things until around 3 years back when I got hooked into PHP and moved to the web world. I also have done some serious development in the mobile platform using J2ME and Symbian C++. Of late I've been into Ruby or Rails, which i am absolutely in love with, in ruby i might say about 1.month.ago !!! AJAX, the hyped up name and all could have been done without, but i still love it when the user sees the data before he expects and wonders when the 'ell did that come in? For my web development projects of late, i can say, I've been pretty heavily soaked up in JavaScript and AJAX as well.
My one and only goal at this point of life is to give my 100% (or more if required) to help Phykon grow into a technology hungry, customer friendly software company that others would like to look up as a model.
Ability to recommend technology seeing the problem domain/scope, Ability to optimize code inside the head, Ability to express technicalities in a way that clients understand.
