Root Markets provides the first real-time auction for the buying and selling of Internet leads on a pay per match basis. As the VP of Engineering and Chief Architect, I directed the design and development of the Root Exchange and FormServer product suites. The Root Exchange is the first Internet lead generation system to allow buyers and sellers to name their own price and manage their own lead inventory. The Root FormServer is the first self-service ad campaign management system to allow large publishers such as the NY Times, Forbes and USA Today to manage their own lead generation networks. In my role, I recruited a top notch team of engineers in San Francisco and managed a remote team based in NY where the company is headquartered. In addition to playing a hands-on role in the development of the company's core technology and strategy, I acted as the central liason between product management, business users and engineering.
