Vitor Magalhães’s Summary
Degree in Computer Engineering, by Faculdade de Ciência e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Started my professional activity at PUUG - Portuguese Unix Users Group - where I helped to build the first Portuguese ISP - Internet Service Provider. Also helped to build EUnet Portugal, another ISP. Consulter for network security. In 1997, founded Infopulse Portugal, Comércio Electrónico, Lda, a company that developed e-business solutions in several areas (homebanking, electronic procurement, marketplaces, electronic billing). Consulter in several companies, with special focus on Portugal Telecom (from 1997 to 2004) where I was the coordinator for Internet and intranet sites. Participation as guest speaker in several electronic commerce conferences. Co-founder and former CEO of WebWare, S.A., company that created telemoveis.com. Co-founder and former CEO of Netcall, first VoIP operator in Portugal. Co-founder and CEO of MadeToWork and BySide project.
