The Aten Syndicate is a small group of very skilled individuals. Systems, Marketing, Security - we're a companys' company. Other contracting companies will nitpick, kludge work, and find ways to squeeze their customer for every dime. We've been subjected to this enough and we've decided that there needs to be a team with honor that people can contact when they need help. We are that team. Our first foot foward is honesty.

Four man consulting group. I was the sole systems administrator for seven customers around town in San Diego. Mostly 10-50 person companies that simply needed daily administration on a user level, and sometimes printer issues etc. From time to time a large project would crop up, like a cisco vpn for a large law firm, or defense contractors who required network diagrams and plans to be OK'ed by someone familiar with linux.

One of three unix systems administrators that adminned 110+ debian linux servers. The network I designed for Anonymizer was patented, and I am awaiting documentation from the patent office for the official US patent number.

Technical support for fortune 500 companies. US military installations, nuclear submarines, guantanamo bay, Kmart, center for disease control amongst others. High degree of professionalism and quick response time to unusual websense/system/network problems. Accute sense of urgency when dealing with issues concerning using websense data to terminate an employee (especially at the federal/military level). Quickly became the linux go-to guy, and was the first employee ever to be 'loaned' to the IT department from technical support.
