Platform agnostic (nix, Windows and OSX) experience in developing applications related to the web and mobile media: code in a variety of scripting languages (Ruby, Python, PHP) as well as skills that supplement it: good copywriting, a roving designer's eye, and a strong interest in usability, accessibility, web standards and the evolving field of human computer interaction. Have led teams and worked in diverse areas such as web design, system administration, and several other varieties of programming glue. I would like to pursue a graduate education in HCI soon, and after that work in a company that values its users and thinks about them when it develops products.
Web design and development: the LAMP stack, Ruby/Rails, and Python/Turbogears. HCI: usability (WAC guidelines) and validation (W3C). System adminstration of *nix, especially FreeBSD systems.
