January 2008 — August 2008 (8 months)
Milan's digital office started with me. It was just me for 6 months doing all in need, from concept, to photoshop, flash and production (across minisite, banner campaigns, viral, guerrilla, ambient, direct mail and everything involves interaction).
I didn't win any award so far. I can just say that my work helped to win 3 big pitches in the last 6 months.
Our CEOs said the last 6 months had been the best in the last years.
I worked on few international projects:
- Blinko (social network)
- Emporio Armani (fashion)
- Eurizon Bank, Intesa Sanpaolo Group (finance)
- Kinder (food)
And on plenty of local projects:
- MTV Mobile (Telecom)
- SKY, Comedy Central, Studio Universal (TV Channel)
- Sony Ericsson (Mobile phones)
- Amaro Averna (spirits)
- Pinko (fashion)
- Best Western (hotels)
- Amplifon (hearing aids)
- Olivetti Telecom Italia (software)
- Fondazione Rava, San Raffaele (charity)
- Ariete (household appliances)
- Alpitour (travel)
- Renault (car).

(Marketing and Advertising industry)
February 2007 — April 2007 (3 months)
I was in charge of the digital projects. I worked on concept and design for minisites, dem, ebooks, banners. Sometimes I worked on car wraps and billboards as well.

October 2006 — December 2006 (3 months)
Charles Clapshaw, Head of Digital, The Furnace Sydney:
"This year we had the pleasure of having Giovanni Vocale work with us at The Furnace as an intern in the creative department from 16 October until 23 December 2006. Giovanni worked predominately on digital projects and quickly became an essential part of the
team. He is a very talented designer who creates beautiful work autonomously – but is also handy at flash and action script - a very rare skillset which means he can lead a project from concept to
final production.
Brands Giovanni worked on include:
Electrolux
Epson
FreeTV
HP
Peugeot
Skins
It was a pleasure to work with Giovanni and I sincerely hope that he can return to Australia one day and work with the team again in the near future."
