I feel I've always been at the fore-front of technology meeting any mass of people, and I continually want in.
When I was in grade school, I was one of the youngest System Operators for a BBS in NY, and as I went through middle and high school, I continued with this passion. In 1998, I created Norman High School's website, which garnered the award for 'Best Educational Website of 1998'.
In college, I was the Operations Director for The Sooner Information Network, which set the standard for college-based portals in the US, by conducting one of the largest online student elections in history. I was also able to increase advertising revenue from $3,000 a year in banner-based advertising revenue to $48,000 a year in just 18 months.
Here, I also sold the product student after student, faculty member after faculty member, to get it to the state it's at right now- with a 100% penetration in the University of Oklahoma student body.
After college, I've worked with companies large and small, in varying fields. I make sure however to keep myself diving headfirst into all opportunities where technology can make life easier for people.

The Designs Bakery started in late 2006, as an afterthought. I realized that there were people who appreciate nice, clean websites, and one that is standards-compliant. As a result, with all my new sites, I make sure that the sites are simple and easy to use, and also coded in XHTML.
What does that mean to the customer? It means that there are going to be less errors no matter which browser your clients are using, like a mobile device. It also loads faster. Faster equals shorter time. And if time equals money, then the customer makes money by potential clients looking at the website quickly and easily.

The Operations Team was split into two parts, Marketing and Advertising. Marketing's task was to 'spread the word' of the website and get it recognized, as well as forge partnerships with on and off campus groups. This would be a two way opportunity for both groups to piggyback off each others' contacts and networking.
The Advertising team made sure that SIN was funded through banner ads placed on the website. In the time I worked with advertising, revenue went from $3,000 a year to $48,000 a year.
The Director's job was to make sure both teams worked synchronously and to manage all the interns that were working for us, while making SIN both a necessity to students at the University of Oklahoma and also financially stable.
