Vince Vaughan, a former IT strategist for a fortune 300 company, has spent over 15 years in various leadership roles managing teams, projects and launching organizations. His purpose of holding these roles is to build enterprise value through thinking and acting strategically as well as fiscal responsibility. In doing this, he has shown acumen for constituting and developing high performance teams, designing and executing competitive technical practices, and reducing costs in situations of market change. Some of the specific roles he held are as Strategist, Chief Technical Officer, Managing Director and President.
Vince attributes his success to belonging to a community of empowered people through rigorous training and practices. He has authored processes for design and development of Web applications, spoken at industry leading conferences, and led initiatives connecting business mission to results. All of these efforts have consistently produced increased customer satisfaction and higher enterprise value.
Vince has dedicated himself to continuous education. He began by attending UMKC with a focus on history while working full time for a fortune 100 company as an ecommerce team leader. He cemented his technical expertise as a certified programmer for the Java 2 platform. He has spent the last year in the study of business leadership and strategies for the design of new practices in a fast, radically changing marketplace. Part of this study involved learning and practicing distinctions for team building, linguistics, philosophy, history, coordination, collaboration and business organization and structure.
His values of strength through community are reflected in the launching of Volunteams.org, a non-profit, Section 501(c)3, organization dedicated to funnel passionate and professional people of Integrity to the causes that need them. He was also founder of LightThread, a successful social media agency.
