Vince Vaughan’s Summary

Think of that shirt you're wearing. Where did you buy it? Who sold it to you? Do you think the person who sold you the shirt is the same person who stocked it? Or delivered it to the store? Or knitted it? Or gathered the materials needed to make it? What can we learn from this simple yet revealing analysis of what we buy?

That we are all connected in more ways than we usually think about on a daily basis.

My passion for building software reflects that central truth, and I am always interested in talking to people and companies that see the world through a multi-faceted lens.

I have been working the Web since 1996, first as a hobby, then as a "Webmaster" for a start-up, a programmer, an application architect, and now currently as an IT strategist responsible for the eCommerce domain, mostly for Fortune 500 companies.

As a strategist, I do research, evaluate technologies, write white-papers, and build blueprints that define the target vision. My work is a fulcrum that provides recommendations and offers counsel, all the while sculpting roadmaps that take my clients three years out.

I'm excited about the Web's possibilities, especially as it fulfills its destiny as a primary "connector" of our lives, even looking online to spark and continue offline conversations or behaviors. My best days are spent working with others to solve real-world challenges to make all our lives more efficient and meaningful.
