Our Ventures unit is a network of academic and industry experts developing new business models based on results of academic research projects. 1) Richweb (with Universities of Oulu and Stanford)

I started my entrepreneurship career as a self-taught hardware and software hacker at the age of 18. My first business was online computer, peripheral and component retailing. Because of the lack of marketing skills back then, I (luckily) ended up doing more software development for e-commerce and other business needs than building and selling computers. During the 8 years, I helped many different kind of organizations to plan and start up software and internet-based business models and learned a lot about different industries.
