Director of New Media at Foundation Post

While the poetry of verse will always be a significant and driving force behind my career, I recognize that in today's market, we artists must be willing to utilize all forms of new media which are available to us. I am an extremely ambitious self-starter with a willingness to learn and an appetite for new technology.
It's a very exciting time to be a part of the advertising/broadcasting world...It's the wild west again and technology is being driven by innovative thinking.

I started as the receptionist, and gained a wealth of experience in the post-production world which helped me step into the role of Associate Producer. I was mentored by Senior Producer, Tracy Heropkie, who taught me everything from bidding a job to acquiring location permits!
Since being promoted to Dir. of New Media I have made it my mission at Foundation to explore new means of media distribution and branded content for a blogworld. I am also the voice behind our blog and twitter feed...so....follow me!

I was the enrichment class coordinator and also assisted the artistic director and founder of the company with client relations and daily business. I taught vocal technique to children ages 8-11 at the Willows Community School. I also encouraged children ages 4-6 to express themselves creatively through use of a class I created called "Fairytale Theatre". It is a class where the children act out their favorite fairytales and have a chance to rewrite them! The exercises promote language skills, logical problem solving and positive social interaction.

Assisted a private literary agent with day-to-day tasks, office work, and client relations. Clients included Kelly Perdew from The Apprentice and Suzanne Hansen from The Hollywood Nanny. I had a great opportunity to read proposals, and review queried manuscripts.

I helped children, ages 5-17, hone their skills as stage performers. I was also given the opportunity to host my own workshop, in which the children were taught the art of traditional comedia del’arte performance. I wrote, choreographed and produced a comedia del’arte show, which the children executed at the end of the summer session. As a Berklee trained vocalist, and having also studied opera throughout high school, I gave private vocal instruction to many of the students.
