Created and maintained the SDSU chapter AKPsi fraternity website. I made the site more personable by posting testimonial videos from members and made two-way communication possible through easy to use contact forms. These additions were found very beneficial during our recruitment periods. www.akpsimusigma.com

Created a recruitment campaign that drew in a record number of potential members. Delegated tasks to my eight person committee. I targeted Sophomore and Junior level students through the internet, flyers, classroom speaking & T-shirts (worn by active members). I organized eight events that provided a surplus of information to interested students.

Sought qualified candidates for an Outside Sales position, scheduled countless interviews, developed a sense of urgency to recruit more individuals for the growing company.

2002 — 2003 (1 year)
Miracle Ranch is a non-profit Christian summer camp. For the summer of 2002 I held a wrangler position. Our seven-person wrangler team dealt with 60 horses each morning. We herded them from the pasture, saddled them up and brought them down to the arenas for English, Western and Trail ride lessons.
This was a labor-intensive job as well as a leadership challenge. I organized lesson plans for horsemanship classes and taught a group of 10 campers during each session.
During summer 2003 I was a cabin counselor who lived and directed a group of eight girls each week. This included making each girl feel right at home and ready for a fun week with new friends. Duties included keeping campers on track with activity schedules, enforcing cleaning duties, one kitchen shift per day, waterfront duty and mostly having fun with the campers.
