August 2004 — Present (5 years 4 months)
In August of 2004 I was quite excited to have passed my board exams in Richmond Virginia to receive my real estate brokers license. I had wanted to earn this designation for quite a while and passed on the first attempt. Yippy. I am not sure if I will want to manage an office but I feel the knowledge and growth that came with this title has only enhanced me personally and professionally.

March 1991 — Present (18 years 9 months)
I earned my sales license in March 1988 and worked for a small firm in Charlottesville, Virginia by the name of Clover Realty. After a few years with this firm I decided I need to be in a larger company and therefor increase my earning possibilities. Which of course it did.
I started with Real Estate III at the 29 North office in September 1991 and have never looked back. Real Estate III has been like a family to me. I earned my Brokers License in August 2004 which was a goal I had set a few years back.

May 1985 — October 1988 (3 years 6 months)
Worked for a popular country doctor in Free Union, Virginia when my daughter was a toddler. Gave me the opportunity to work flexible hours. Decided after a few years that real estate was my career choice and has been that way since 1988.

May 1978 — January 1985 (6 years 9 months)
After leaving college I went to work for Gene Harding in the city Treasurer's office being responsible for accepting payment for parking fines or taking these folks who violated our city parking rules to court. After enough of dealing with unhappy folks I got a promotion to go to the Purchasing/Warehouse department in the city yard. Worked there for a few years and resigned before the birth of my daughter.
2nd year , Business which turned in to Pyschology major , 1977 — 1979
Unfortunately, I only attended up to 2 years at Ferrum College as I had not completely decided on a major. However, after taking the business courses I found that my better classes where pyschology classes which I so enjoyed. I believe those studies help with my clients and customers today.
My husband and I own a farm in the historical Green Springs District in Louisa County. I love to get my hands in the fertile dirt of our farm. Growing organic produce with the use of heirloom seeds really takes me back to the farming days of yesteryear. We also ride Harleys in the countryside with a group of friends. I also love to go wine tasting and sit with a glass of wine surrounded by the beautiful countryside . But mostly I enjoy the time I spend with my new grandson, Eli, who lights up my world every minute of the day.
