Over the years I have explored a broad range of viewpoints on online media. The organisations I worked for range from startup to multinational, from commercial to not for profit.
The common denominator in all my work is the facilitation of people to fully realize their potential in a networked environment.
I am a sparring partner with a creative and analytical view on business processes and human interaction.

On july 1st 2009, the LinkedIn Group Innovatie 2.0-Community of Talents organised itself to host a large scale event with over 350 participants and 30 faciliators with 0 budget.
I was projectleader for the organisation of the first event and am now organising the follow up to establish a solid foundation on order to bring the community to productive results.

SURFnet is a high-grade computer network specially reserved for higher education and research in the Netherlands. SURFnet's portfolio of networkservices comprises gigabit internet connections complemented by innovative networkconnections called lightpaths.
Application areas vary from online collaborative environments to HDTV, Radio Astronomy and Healthcare.
As an account advisor I maintained and developed relationships with research institutions, universities and academic hospitals. My secondary activities included the procurement of dark fibre routes, productmanagement of a searchengine service and involvement in a feasibility study on VoIP services.

During my time at Accenture I worked on high-profile e-commerce delivery projects in a variety of roles. My favourite memory is establishing an offshore J2EE software development capability in Mauritius on-site for half a year for an airline client.
During my last project I was the overall responsible for the technical delivery of a high volume / high revenue transcactional online bookingtool used from over 60 countries.
I am proud to have played a key role in launching the Accenture BlogPodium shortly before leaving the Accenture organisation.
