Rotary Foundation International Scholarship: Verena received a scholarship to participate in the Fall 1991 pilot Group Study Exchange program to meet with business, industry, and new municipal leaders throughout the former East Germany. Coordinated pre-departure training, briefings, industry tours, and information gathering on Texas & Germany. During our trip, delivered eight speeches and conducted a seminar, in German, illustrating the benefits of free marketing. Upon returning, gave presentations to various Rotary Clubs.
