Venkat is currently the CEO of Su-Kam Power Systems. Venkat joined Su-Kam from NVIDIA corp where he was the Director of Engineering. Prior to that Venkat was the Vice President of Engineering at PortalPlayer, a company that developed core technologies that drove the most popular portable multi-media products such as personal media players and wireless smart phones. PortalPlayer was acquired by NVIDIA Corp in Jan 2007. Venkat has BE degree from Madurai-Kamaraj University and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Prior to Portalplayer, Venkat worked at Sun Microsystems, CA and has over 20 years of experience in technology and technology management.
