With different positions as SDE (Software Development Engineer) around the world of Microsoft technologies/products, I was firstly a technical leader for the investment banking of Societe Generale in London.
Following this position I was promoted as a project manager for a tactical team, a new time within the investment banking of SG in Paris. My new experience allows me to manage projects and persons on different kind of requests, customers.
After 2 years in SGCIB, I joined Microsoft for new challenges as a Consultant in Application Platform Optimization (.NET/SQL Server architecture) to help MS clients to design and develop their applications/systems. It's a really good thing to improve my technical skills as well as my knowledge about the Microsoft ecosystem. My target is to work for different MS subsidiaries around the world to have a global vision and get a management position with a strong strategic orientation.

My position is composed by different things:
-> Identify clients needs
-> Find out technical solutions
-> Understand business needs, client's constraints (infrastructure, policy...)
We manage different kind of clients, most of time important french companies.

This contest is composed by the best students in computering of the World. They have to design an innovative solution according to a theme. For example in 2008 it's to improve our environment.
As an assistant captain, my work is to manage the WW final, contestants, rules, judges during all the contest.
As well as assistant captain, I am the coach for french teams. I have to help them to provide as much as possible an innovative, relevant and potential solution for the WW finals.
It's an exiting and challenging position to motivate and look for the best french teams!
I have the pleasure to be judge at the french but also at the WW level and it's always amazing to see the creativity and technical skills of our students accross the world.

I had the great opportunity to work within a tactical team of SGCIB in Paris. It was so interesting to design and develop applications for so many departments. A good way to learn how to switch between a lot of different requests, kind of clients...

I was in charge of innovative solutions with Microsoft technologies, I developped different applications, proofs of concepts as well.
Interesting to see in practive how it might be difficult to integrate technologies or other stuff within a big company, to keep in mind the architecture constraints...
My role in London allowed me to learn a lot of things about the investment banking World, London is the center of finance in the world. I learnt new ways to live, to work and communicate. Doubtless a rewarding experience.

I finished my studies by an internship of one year within Coronis Systems.
As a .NET consultant, I developed several things to allow communication between Windows Media Center and Coronis sensors. This kind of application can manage devices at home, look after high temperatures for old persons and so on.
A very good experience to see a different domains of application.
