Conducted research specializing in preliminary design modeling and criteria management. Managed and worked independently on research projects, software requirements solicitation, user interface and system architecture design, coding, change management, version control, testing, and maintenance of tools for building design professionals. Significant projects: 1. Principle Investigator for research project to advance the state-of-the-art in parametric CAD and visual programming concepts in design. Managed and executed cooperative R&D agreement with Bentley Systems. 2. Lead developer for Layout Composer (https://ff.cecer.army.mil/fc/). 3. Managed development of Sustainable Designer's Aid (https://ff.cecer.army.mil/sda/). 4. Programmer on the Modular Design System (MDS) design tool which achieved increased design efficiency and flexibility for repetitive facility types and a very early form of a Building Information Modeling (BIM) tool (http://tinyurl.com/at7we).
