Program Director of PICNIC from 2005-2008, an international event that attracts some 5000 delegates, and which includes conferences, workshops, masterclasses and performances.
Programmer of the 'iMMovator Cross Media Cafe's', as well as the Mediapark Jaarcongres, Dutch events about broadcasting and new media developments.
Program Director of TEDxAmsterdam, an independently organised TED conference on 20 November 2009.

From 1998-2003 Founder and Director of Van Dusseldorp & Partners, research and events on European internet developments. Events developed and organised include the TVmeetstheWeb and the SMSmeetsTV series, international seminars on Digital Rights Management, Content Billing, Syndication, SMS and television, Participation TV, as well as Dutch events on E-mail Marketing, Mobile marketing, Streaming media and Cross Media formats, etc.
Co-founded (with Norbert Specker and Robin Hunt) and further developed (with Sean Cornwell) Europemedia, a news service that from 1997-2003 provided daily and weekly news on European new media developments, together with a network of 60 correspondents.
Previously Director of Communications of the European Institute for the Media (Manchester, UK - Dusseldorf, Germany).
Member of the Advisory Board of Butterfly Works and the Board of the Museumnacht Amsterdam, Member of the Jury of NLAwards (NL) and Swift Awards (BE). Previously Member of the Board of public broadcaster NPS, broadband project Kenniswijk, Dutch Gridforum Association, jury member of Interactive Publishing Awards (US), Europrix (AT) and the Bangemann Challenge (SE).
Expert in European digital media developments. Collecting and researching case studies of digital media use by publishers, broadcasters, mobile operators etc. Presenting these to managers, board members, conferences. Putting together conference programmes, seminars, workshops, masterclasses. Writing reports and articles.
