Accelerator program of Flanders investment & Trade (FIT) and IBBT for ICT startups in cooperation with the Californian incubator Plug & Play Tech Center.
At Plug & Play promising technological start-ups can not only find a home in the heart of Silicon Valley, but also find the introductions, local market knowledge and support they need to get started up quickly.
End of 2011, iText was selected for this program, and I got the chance to go work in Silicon Valley for about 3 "full-on" weeks with my CEO Bruno Lowagie.
The objective of this stay is a first-hand acquaintance with the Silicon Valley ecosystem and building a network of commercial and financial relations in the United States. Based on this experience, companies can decide on how to further develop their internationalization strategy.

Fast Track Funding Flanders

With CEO Bruno Lowagie, I had the opportunity to follow a coaching cycle for starters who want to collect money for a Series A round: Ftff - Fast Track Fuding Flanders.
It is a series of online workshops and coaching sessions that help entrepreneurs prepare a Series A round. The program focuses on ICT (enabled) companies.
The coaching program helped working on the following opportunities for starters:
• How to raise funding, speed growth or expand internationally
• How to increase the perceived value of our company through the eyes of investors
• How to sharpen the speed with which investors and customers get what it is that we do in 120 seconds or less
• How to go international and how to best prepare the resources for this
