I am a Start Up addict living in the northern California. I am a web designer as well as an internet consultant who can be hired on an hourly basis through my firm, Blue Monitor.
I have deep "hands on" vertical experience in media, technology, and angel investing.
I have worked on projects in digital rights management for media, consumer electronics, and retail.
In 1995 I founded a music distribution company, I was the first west coast distributor for Rawkus Records in 1997, and was the first vinyl distributor to sell battle tools, and music to Pro Sound Stage and Lighting, the largest DJ catalog service in the US.
In 1998 I founded the DJ Union in Santa Cruz, in 1999 I joined Destiny Media Technologies. In 2002 I started and sold a small wireless ISP in LA, in 2003 I started a BPO company from India named Blue Monitor.
In 2005 I Co -Founded a software company which has developed a web services platform for company to quickly, and cost effectively built application around digital media.
I have been an investor in set top box makers, clothing company's, Raves, and Hip Hop concerts in my younger years.
Currently I am working on a Co-Working space for "Media Centric" starts ups in downtown San Jose in the broadband corridor (access to affordable broadband is essential), and working with lots of start ups in Africa and India.

The DJ Union partner with the Chaotica Agency in 1998 in Hollywood California, and began to build a massive DJ oriented business. The company's investor was the family who owned the tallest building in Hollywood, and helped establish the start up by offering capital, and free rent in thir building. By 2001 DJ Union LLC had grown from a start with no revenues to a business doing over 1 Million a year distributing DJ products, booking world famous DJ's and Acts like The Chemical Brothers, ICP, Kool Keith, Sky Cries Mary, DJ Qbert, and many more.

We manufacturer Enterprise, and consumer products, and SMC Networks is a wholly owned subsidary. This is a new business unit with a focus on marketing, and product development for new and emerging markets. We are also the team responsibile for implementing new "Zero Time" business pratices across the enterprise.

I opened and maintained the Destiny office in Hollywood, California from Dec 1999 Til Aug 2001, and was responsible for Business Development in the US.
While with Destiny I worked closely with Steve, the Founder and our development team to create the MPE DRM system, now used by every major and most of the indy record labels in the US to move promos from the label facility to the station PD electronically, and securely.
