Worked for STMicro on a joint design team exclusively with NOKIA Mobile Phones, for QUALCOMM for 8 years thru the 3G –CDMA/UMTS/HSPA era working closely with up to 25+ licensees, & early 2G/GSM for SAMSUNG Telecom .

Present focus is Convergence Technologies of IEEE 802 stds like 4G: 802.16 WiMAX & 5G: 802.22 Cognitive WRAN, plus new study group on 802.15.6 BAN and .15.3 UWB, whilst keeping up with 3GPP LTE (& UMB) for new applications like FemtoCell, Home Gateway and Wireless Medical.

Recent focus includes Front End solutions for UMTS, CDMA NxOFDMA, MIMO & 802.11,15,16, 20 & 22 WLAN/WiMax multimode

I began my career with BS & MS Degrees in Engineering, leading to early career experiences & contributions in device modeling, circuit design & subsystem developments where I led World wide eng. teams in Four World Class Firsts – First Commercial Active Antenna for Space -ESA, First Active Antenna for Battlefield Radar - MMIC/RFIC, First cdma1x Voice call & First dual mode single stack UMTS-GSM voice call.
