I am a wife, mother of eight, grandmother of five, twin sister, author, and one of six siblings. I have spent much of my life caring for difficult foster children while raising my own. I have spoken and trained within the Social Care industry on child development. And, for the last five years, I've been writing from the journals of my own childhood... "Looking through the Eyes of an Unseen Child" can now be purchased world wide. I am now available for book signings, speaking engagements, radio, and television interviews. I will do anything to help the unseen children of this world be seen!!!
I begin my book tour with Borders Books Nov. 14, '09 and will be going Nation Wide! Go to www.unseenchild.com and see the calender of events. I would love the opportunity to connect with you at your local Borders =)

I was the unexpected child. My twin sister and I have four other siblings. I must now open the journals of my childhood and share the gripping story of our struggles with a life of abuse. I hope that by telling my story, it will help give other unseen children, and my siblings, the courage to heal. I believe all things happen for a reason, and my life is no exception. I have been blessed with a wonderful marriage to my husband Dave, three beautiful biological children, five adopted daughters, and countless other foster children who shared our home over the years. This loving support, along with an uncompromising Faith in God, has given me the strength to find and embrace the wonder of unconditional acceptance – not only of others, but also of myself. Now, as always, I am using this Faith to help me overcome my many health challenges so I can enjoy my growing family of grandchildren.

I get so many requests asking, "Diana, how can I help you?" Well, here are some simple ways you can get involved... I'm ready to go where others will not! I'm ready to speak for those who cannot! I want to help the unseen children who are hiding in the shadows of life! Please help me get into the prisons, the rehabilitation centers, the shelters, safe houses, the schools and the neigborhoods where these hurting children can be found... I've got the passion and I've got the message, I simply need financial support. Costs include travel, lodging, meals, and MOST IMPORTANTLY - the funds to be able to print and distribute copies of Looking through the Eyes of an Unseen Child. Some of those who need to read this book the most, are unable to afford to purchase a copy of their own... -Buy ONE Book - Read it and Pass it on! -Buy a FEW Books - Give them to your loved ones as gifts! -Buy SEVERAL Books - Help me reach the kids on the streets who can't buy their own!
