The most common definition that's associated with me is that I'm an energetic and hard-working person with a significant tint of sense-of-humour.
After Blogging for over 2 years, I decided to get into content writing and wrote for a few websites, the most prominent of them being iSport ( http://isport.in/ ). I then switched to ghost writing content for magazines and internal corporate publications.
I have a bit of experience in unofficially working for startups. This was largely because a few friends of mine started off on their own with their ventures and I got a chance to watch them and help them out from close quarters.
I then did a bit of grass-root marketing for Mozilla Corp in the final year of college. My job was to keep the entire college aware of Firefox and other relevant Mozilla products. I managed to be significantly successful in doing the same.
I have been running a social forum called Sit, in Chennai, for over a year now. Apart from all the perspectives gained through discussions, Sit has given me endless scope to experiment with and learn some fund-raising, event management, non-profit organisation management and soft-selling. I have been involved in Chennai's social sector, trying to do my bit to help social ventures in whatever way I can.
I am currently involved in experimenting with and learning some Social Media Marketing. I'm also trying to get involved in a lot of community-based initiatives in Chennai.
If you find any of the above interesting, please don't hesitate to drop me a note/invitation.
