Since year 1999 I have practiced traditional, herbal and alopathic medicine, serving the Bhutanese community in Thimphu for some two and a half years, and in various countries throughout Europe for another two years, before returning to India and continuing my service in various charitable and philanthropic activities.
My travels in Europe took me to Norway, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Spain. My duties included delivering lectures at various universities, medical colleges, preparing tradition herbal medicines, delivering botanical recognition courses, seasonal diet management courses, treating patients, conducting basic home-remedy preparation courses (preventative medicine).
My current work with the Chedug Charitable Foundation is founded on the belief in the principles of the Hippocratic Oath, serving the community to the best of my ability, and avoiding causing harm to others.
We provide medical camps, free medicines, free medical procedures, with an emphasis on child & mother health care. We also provide reproduction health care services, HIV awareness and prevention services, and we have a strong platform for anti-child labour and exploitation/traffic of the underaged.
Herbal preparations & tinctures, ointments & syrups, tablets & pills, Tibetan medicines, chronic disease treatments, education training, counseling, Government liaison, philanthropy, charitable service.

Our organization is originally from Australia, maintaining a strong presence in northern India for more than a decade. Now we are undergoing an interesting and challenging phase of expansion.
Our head office is in Connaught Place (New Delhi - India) with international affiliate centres in Manhattan (New York - USA), Hong Kong & Guangzhou (China), Thimphu (Bhutan) and regional centres around India.
My role is to attend to all inquiries originating from Bhutan and/or the Bhutanese communities in India and South Asia. This includes student counseling, immigration services, and jobs overseas programs.

The Foundation is a non-profit charitable association providing free medical treatment to inhabitants of the remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh bordering on Tibet and Bhutan.
We also accommodate 200 orphans from the area, providing schooling, accommodation, food and medical care.
As Medical Director, one of my responsibilities is to oversee the design & construction of a new hospital planned, that will serve the communities scattered throughout this remote area, numbering at around 40,000 people. The local community is made of traditional tribal himalayan people of Tibetan origin.
We are currently seeking funding from international donors to help complete this project.

Providing lessons and teachings in Tibetan & Buddhist meditation techniques, Reiki yoga, pranayam yoga, herbal treatments and diet correction. We also ventured into re-afforestation services in the Himalayas, land management and sanitation capacity building.
