Director of Marketing at Involver
San Francisco Bay Area
I've worked in early-stage technology companies since before I could drive. I thrive on the high energy and the challenge of organizing the chaos.
In 2005, I lived in Europe and started a non-profit in New Orleans. While attending film school, I sold technology to accountancy practices full-time. After I graduated I founded Willis Media Group, which helped companies with social networking strategy.
As an adviser, and later a consultant, I became more and more involved with RapOuts, a video marketing technology company. In early 2008, we changed our name to Involver and I joined the team full time. We're changing the way brands interact with their audiences to a model that works today and will continue to work in the long term.
Philanthropically I volunteer as the San Francisco Chapter Director of the New Leaders Council Technology Committee and I help The Seasteading Institute put on events. I am a charter member of The Long Now.

Involver's video campaign platform builds, launches, promotes, and manages video campaigns that reach the millions of social networking users. Brands that have used Involver's platform include Puma (SNCR Award Winner), Pepsi, Newsweek, Chiquita Banana, Maker's Mark, Reader's Digest, Serena Software (OMMA Award Winner) and Kiva.org.
We helped do some things I'm especially proud of:
-Our campaign for Kiva.org helped raise $300k for loans to entrepreneurs in the developing world.
-Our campaign for Help Vinay helped find bone marrow matches for Leukemia Suffers (registering 26,000 South Asians for the bone marrow registry, a 20% increase).
My work:
-In charge of the launch of our Fan Page Applications product.
-Defined and built out several roles internally: sales, marketing, communications and publisher management.
-Manage all publisher operations and internal/external communications.
-Setup our Sales program, actively managed it, recruited my replacement.
-Personally recognized by Stanford University.
-Contributed often to MediaPost, an industry leading publication.
-Guest wrote for AllFacebook, the top blog covering Facebook.
