Tyler Hurst’s Summary
I'm a communications professional looking to take the next step in my career. Currently, I'm in the publishing/marketing/PR (yep, many hats) and am ready to start producing the content, rather than writing about it or selling it to someone.
At kontaktmag, my main responsibilities were to update our website, promote our brand via social media and other avenues, accommodate press requests and produce our yearly furniture design show with over 30 exhibitors and 500+ attendees.
With Pearson, a Fortune 500 educational publishing conglomerate, my main task was sales support to 70+ executives in 10 southeastern states. I helped create client letters, direct mail campaigns, internet marketing materials, user forums and various other sales-related tasks. I also assisted our Corporate Communications Department with script writing for internal videos, planned our newest building grand opening and produced video of children using our products for use by sales executives and news outlets.
