•Personally responsible for generating $1,000,000 of new business for the tournament in sponsorship and hospitality sales. Included the negotiation of a retail platform at The Barclays for VF Sportswear, via the Nautica brand name, allowing me to work closely with PGA TOUR Licensing as well as IMG.
•Assist other tournaments under the Championship Management umbrella reach their revenue targets by negotiating sponsorships with current clients on the tournament’s behalf. Revenue generation for other tournaments is currently projected to exceed $250,000 in addition to day-to-day targets for The Barclays.
•Collaborate on a regular basis with our Ticketing, Tournament Operations and Accounting departments to ensure that client orders are properly fulfilled and paid in advance of the tournament.
•Design and implement high-level, multi-faceted sponsorship and hospitality solutions.
•Collaborate daily with sales managers and marketing team in the creation of a market penetration plan to achieve corporate brand awareness throughout the New York Metropolitan area.

Sales Specialist: The Barclays Tournament

(10 months)Paramus, NJ

•Worked closely with Director of Sales for Championship Management to help facilitate and close renewal agreements by managing the entire contract process including creation, delivery to client, signature and invoicing. Also aided in other account management responsibilities including the creation of proposals via Word and PowerPoint, fulfillment of last minute needs, and conducting site visits if the Director was unavailable.
•Created and maintained an internal sales tracking mechanism to report current YTD sales for revenue and inventory management. Utilized this report to justify any discrepancies between PGA TOUR HQ reporting and internal management report that was delivered to HQ bi-weekly.
•Solely responsible for the organization, fulfillment and reconciliation of Host Club Member Ticket purchases which required full knowledge of multiple accounting systems both internal and external. Managed the fulfillment 450+ different orders accounting for $350,000+ in tournament revenue. Worked with accounting departments at Plainfield Country Club (Host Club) and PGA TOUR Headquarters to reconcile revenue from the orders.
•Delivered over $215,000 in new business to the tournament via sponsorship and hospitality sales.

Records Assistant

Championship Management Sales: Intern

• Created presentations for the Vice President to pitch to clients like Chik-Fil-A, Nordstrom, and Ohio Health in an effort to acquire new business, resulting in over $500,000 in potential incremental business for the TOUR.
• Made sales calls to over 100 clients in 1 day to renew their contracts for the 2011 PLAYERS Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida resulting in renewed business of over $10,000.
• Created a Bonus Calculation sheet in Excel to automate the calculation of salesperson bonuses, resulting in more accurate and timely reporting for the Executive Directors, easing the process of paying the salespeople in the field. Collaborated with the finance department to ensure accuracy of formulas and has now been implemented for all further bonus calculations in Championship Management.
• Developed a tracking system that shows a salesperson’s progress over time and tracks their progress against their goal. Provides up-to-date, accurate information for the Vice-President in order for him to make strategic decisions in determining the focus of certain individuals. This system has also been implemented by the finance and ticket departments to cross-check their records and ensure accuracy.

New England Patriots Lottery Fulfillment Intern

-Update confidential databases viewed by MSLC and NEP.

-Strategize new execution strategies to cut time and money in the cost of operating a fulfillment agency.

Bentley University was a fantastic experience for me. The education in the classroom was second to none, but the lessons learned outside of it will stay with me forever. After the earthquakes in Haiti, I was responsible for putting together a response plan to raise money and awareness for these tragic events. After the situation was brought to the forefront of the Bentley community by a fellow student, him and I worked tirelessly, along with a group of very talented students, putting together fundraising plans via merchandise, events, silent auctions and Trustees dinners. We raised over $50,000 in a matter of weeks, created a new curriculum on campus focused on disaster response efforts, and received numerous humanitarian awards on campus. To this day, developing Project Haiti on campus is one of the most rewarding experiences in my life.
