Quality & Process Manager at Escenic
Oslo Area, Norway
My wife, my children and I have recently moved to the Oslo area in July 2007. We wanted to move abroad to give our family, especially the children, the opportunity to live in a different culture and learn an extra language. We chose Norway because we like the Norwegian culture and we've fallen in love with Norwegian nature during our summer holidays.
I have recently started my first job in Norway. It is going to be an interesting new experience.
I am a software development specialist. After a solid career as a C++ and Java programmer I have moved on to more managerial jobs like Software architect or Project-, Team- and department manager.
My heart lies in Software development process improvement. I like to work in software development organizations and help to improve the way it helps to meet its client’s needs by working with the team as a lead developer/Architect or if necessary in a purely managerial role.
I can perform any role in a software development team. I have kept current in my programming skills while developing my managerial skills. Because I can work with clients as well as with technical teams, I am a perfect intermediary between a technical team and client, sales or project management teams.
