Troy Jensen currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of SolVentus Energy, a division of Transpacific CleanTech, Inc., SolVentus is strategically focused on Clean Energy Origination, including sales, revenue-generation streams, marketing, energy trading, funding, and financial solutions for grid-tied Clean Energy and Smart Grid deployments. SolVentus also incepted and is rolling out a "Green Broker Program" for real estate brokers, having had fantastic results in several test markets.
Troy entered the CleanTech industry over a year ago, an organic evolution many in the technology sector are making. As an Internet veteran, he quickly saw the enormous financial opportunity. Combined with the phenomenal "ancillary" benefit - helping the environment - it quickly turned into a passion. The result was his co-founding of SolVentus Energy. Troy has expertise from the ground up, from working onsite at at small residential solar installs, to helping broker large commercial Power Purchasing Agreements (PPAs). He has spent his career in marketing, sales, finance and monetization modeling throughout the Clean Energy, digital, mobile and technology sectors. His strong background in Clean Energy and technology, as well as in business development, sales, marketing, financial modeling, and start-up funding, has led to the generation of over $470 million in Clean Energy and digital revenue. Troy has led hundreds of sophisticated digital marketing campaigns and technology offerings for many Fortune 500 clients, ad agencies, online ad networks and online publishers. He has also lead, co-founded or consulted with several successful Interactive startups.
When not consumed by all things CleanTech, Troy's passion is in the air - he has his private pilots license and loves to find any excuse to get "wheels-up." Other hobbies include traveling, reading, golf, gadgets of all sorts, and is a devoted Miami Dolphins fan.
