I have over eight years of web development experience. At university I studied for a BSc (Hons) in Internet Product Design, gaining a 2:1 classification.
I am fluent in both front- and back-end coding. I develop usable and accessible front-end interfaces using web standards, including semantic HTML, CSS for layout and visual design, and JavaScript (particularly jQuery) for progressive user interface enhancements. On the server side, I use PHP and MySQL, as well as theory in database design and security.
I have built content management systems which have numerous layers of easily configurable private options including; total page limits, enabling page addons (contact form, address, sidebar) and page modules such as news, gallery and links. Every page is editable and can be reordered within the straight-forward administration interface – which makes even novice computer users feel comfortable.

The Multipack is a community of multi-talented individuals from across the Midlands UK, that come together to discuss all the things web and share their knowledge, skills and talents.
We currently meet up once a month at different locations across the region. It’s a great opportunity to meet like minded developers, designers and perhaps even the odd expert! Come along and share your ideas, and perhaps learn something new.

My final year project was entitled ‘Unrestricted Access’, a website built using web standards, with articles and interviews about web standards. The site also showcased the flexibility of semantic markup and CSS, with multiple style sheets changing the entire look and feel.
