Working as a freelancer on a large project to recode from scratch an extranet reporting application in OO PHP and standards compliant HTML. The application is used by about 300 researchers and bodies providing reports to back up the funding given to them for health research. The previous application is no longer in a maintainable state. I took on the remit to rebuild maintaining the current functionality, then improve UI and finally extend and integrate with other systems.

Working in a growing team four to fourteen, we develop a London entertainment listings site to support the largest weekly listings print magazine in London, a restaurant and bars site, a film site and a travel site. I have worked on three evolutions of the site to expand the offering and improve SEO and traffic. I implemented two Analytics solutions (Google Analytics, then HBX) and work on analysis and improving traffic levels and conversion. The content is maintained in a CMS we built to be used by our editorial team. Built in PHP Framework using Smarty.

On-location for live web coverage of four Squash World Championships in Egypt.
