I empower patients to take control of their healthcare and decision-making, and to find the help they need to find their most successful medical outcomes.

I teach health professionals how improved communication and partnership with patients can make their practices more efficient and improve their patients' outcomes.

My career as a patient advocate began after a heinous run-in with the dysfunction of the healthcare system. I was diagnosed with a rare and fatal lymphoma and figured out on my own that I had been misdiagnosed. So I took my previous experiences, both as a marketing professional and a teacher, and turned them into my new mission in life -- helping others navigate their healthcare more successfully, too.
