I am currently co-authoring the update to Tim Whitsett's "Music Publishing: The Real Road to Music Business Success."
I recently appeared on FM 103.7 in Jackson, MS to discuss basic music publishing concepts for songwriters.
I have experience with copyright issues, music publishing, licensing contracts, songwriter agreements, book/literary contracts and recording artist agreements.
I also have new media experience as a result of my internship at BMI-New Media headed by Richard Conlon.
I'm available as a freelance music producer and recording engineer. I am not a licensed attorney. I am a 3rd year law student with a strong desire to practice entertainment law. I cannot give legal advice.

Worked on the New Media team at BMI in Nashville, TN. One of my most interesting tasks was putting together an analysis of some very popular online social networking sites and their uses of new media. Additionally, I gathered infringement evidence.
My experience in the New Media department at BMI helped me to build a solid foundation for understanding digital technology, digital distribution, and the applicable laws and business practices.
