Lead Minister for Adult Ministry at Highland Oaks Church of Christ
Dallas/Fort Worth Area
I am a learner, first and foremost. I thrive in both the learning process and in leading others into learning opportunities. My wife Marla and I have been married 7 years. We have a son Caden who is 3, and Grant, who is due in May 2008.
I graduated in 1999 with a Masters in Christian Education and in 2005 with a Masters of Divinity. I intend to complete my formal training with an Ed.D. or Ph.D.
While working with youth, small groups, and volunteers in churches over the last decade, I have gained an appreciation for the wide spectrum of people, ministries, and churches within Churches of Christ. I have a great interest in the church universal and in the ecclesiological forms it has taken throughout history.
I'm an avid Dallas sports fan, especially of the Texas Rangers. I've got a great collection of baseball cards dating back 50 years, and a growing collection of root beer bottles brewed all around the country.
