Pelican Energy Consultants is an engineering firm that focuses on oil & gas companies, pipeline companies, and refineries/petrochemical companies. I have been working in our sales/marketing department since March 2007. We assist our customers in numerous ways, ranging from permitting, procurement, drafting, design, project management, and civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering services.
My childhood friend started the company two weeks before Katrina in 2005, and successfully grown the company regionally. Our goals are to continue to grow the company to have a national presence, and to eventually have an international presence. In 2005, the company started with four individuals, and we now have just under 100 employees and have offices in New Orleans, La; Houston, TX; and Dallas, TX. Our headquarters are in my hometown of Covington, LA.
My previous experience has mostly composed of sales in the oil and gas industry, with a short stint from 2005 - 2007, in the paper/pulp industry. I have sold cranes, pumps, and project management services before joining Pelican Energy in '07.
I study national and international trends in energy, banking, and politics. The energy sector has proven to be volatile throughout history, and my focus is to help position Pelican Energy in favorable market conditions. Through diversification, solid leadership within Pelican Energy, and steadily accumulating extremely talented personel, we have been able to achieve the majority of our goals thus far.

BridgeNet acts simply as a "bridge" between businesss and technology. There are monumental innovations not yet integrated in small business, both in hardware and software, that create gross internal efficiencies while not only presenting a very professional image to your customers, but also serving them more accurately and timely.

Greatest sales experience of my life to that point in my life. Hunter mentality kept our sales group always on the go. Learned a tremendous amount about myself and a totally different style of sales. Had great leadership that made me problem solve through my obstacles.
I would not trade my experience with Pratt for anything in the world. Upon leaving, I felt it necessary to write the three managers that I dealt with during my tenure there, as well as the owner's son (Anthony Pratt - President North America). I needed to express my deep gratitude for Pratt giving me an opportunity to represent them in my sales efforts. Pratt embodied innovation, leadership, and quality, all while keeping the employees interests in plain site.

I transferred from Vanderbilt University in the Spring of 1994 in large part due to philosophical differences with my then head coach, Gerry DiNardo,
After sitting out the entire '94 football season while enrolled and practicing at LSU, coach Curly Halman and his staff were fired. His replacement was shortly named, and it was none other than, Gerry DiNardo
