Presently, I am happy serving as the Director of New Media for the Virgin Islands Public Television System WTJX Channel 12, a PBS affiliate. In addition to fulfilling traditional webmaster duties, I am the station's social media strategist, community manager, online content producer, and developer.
It is my goal for WTJX to effectively engage the public in a rich discourse of the relevant issues of the day, and to continue to lead as the Territory's premier online source for news, education, video, and entertainment. Follow me!

Develop and maintain all station websites, mobile website, wiki, video podcasts, and RSS feeds using Drupal and WordPress CMS platforms. Produce on-site and remote access live-streaming television events. Select hardware, software, and streaming server solutions for the station's livestream video services. Social media strategy, community engagement, and content management. Create Facebook Fan pages, Twitter feeds, and other social media accounts including discussion, photo sharing, and bookmarking sites. Edit and upload YouTube content and develop iTunes podcast feeds for original programs. Search engine optimization and web analytics tracking. Perform keyword and key-phrase analysis to increase inbound traffic to website, using analytics to measure return on investment. Engage with PBS to effectively leverage the brand locally and to provide digital content for access and distribution across the network and member stations. I was the 2010 Employee of the Year, and sometimes I get to have fun on TV.
