The Society of Sustainable Mobility is the volunteer community behind the Open Source Green Vehicle project, subsequently spinning off a commercial venture, Motivus Corporation, competing in the Progress Auto X-Prize. SSM in 2009 will focus on consumer education, advocate for improved investment in a green transit infrastructure, and encourage open-source collaboration between academia, new startups, and established automakers - in efforts to offer consumers more sustainable options.

The Climate Project consists of 2,500 dedicated and distinguished global volunteers from throughout the United States, Australia, Canada, India, Spain, and the UK, all personally trained by former Vice President Al Gore to educate the public about climate change. TCP presenters have reached a combined 4 million people worldwide. Our hope is that by raising the awareness of our fellow citizens about this crisis and informing them about potential solutions, all of us, together, can preserve the climate balance on which humanity and our planet depend.
