Founder of Trellon.com, a technology firm focused on delivering new media solutions for non-profits, NGOs, political campaigns and other worthwhile groups, as well as new product development. We focus on creating online communities, content management and social networking solutions using open source software with a heavy emphasis on distributed and integrated platforms. Responsible for all aspects of the company's operations.
I have 10 years of high-level experience managing technology deployments covering everything from information architecture, business requirements analysis, infrastructure development, managing multi-disciplinary teams and programming. Running Trellon, I have merged these competencies with ones in managing operations, marketing, recruitment, sales and business development.
For those who don't enjoy generic descriptions, I am good at the following:
- Creating the strategic vision for how to accomplish real world goals
- Implementing the plan for how to get there
- Creating affinities between people using social networking and collaborative tools, and put them together with other systems to increase the value of the whole
- Developing channels over time and build effective partnerships with other companies
- Managing teams, budgets, projects, marketing, sales and other aspects of operations
- Building large scale applications that can reach millions of people and actually 'work'
- Getting involved in the details where I am needed
- Focusing on things that will make the world a better place
- Making things light up and go beep
