My experience has taught me to bring interesting and innovative solutions to difficult problems. I've taken struggling internet initiatives and turned them into highly ROI-centric eBusiness solutions. I also enjoy opportunities to use new media applications (podcasting, RSS feeds, third-screen) in ways to connect organizations and individuals together.

I started ASW Consulting as an umbrella organization for the many side projects I had either started or for which I had become involved. Along the way, I've picked up a smattering of clients who use me on an ad hoc basis to either help understand the digital media space or to find better and more efficient ways to do business in an ever-changing marketplace.
Over the years, I've connected with other professionals I can draw on as necessary. Ah, the power of ubiquitous connectivity!
Since July of 2008, I've been working with a handful of clients -- some large and some small --and am actively seeking to expand my client base.

Blue Ribbon Digital is an online advertising agency. As VP/Managing Director, the entire staff reported through me. During my tenure, I was proud to have helped such great organizations like Google and Yahoo! build out new and exciting products and offerings that our clients and others have used to their benefit.

Discount Tire Company is the largest independent tire dealer in the country. I rose through the ranks over 13.5 years, managing two stores, liaising between store operations and IT and ultimately spearheading the newly-formed eBusiness Group in 1999. I managed a team of 20+ developers, designers and specialists as we took a legacy brochure-wear application to a fully-functional eCommerce engine, responsible for millions of dollars in monthly transactions, proudly becoming the dominant player in the online space for aftermarket tires and wheels. I was responsible for creating the company’s online strategies and explaining those plans to the retail operations group. More frequently, I adapted those plans to meet the needs of the stores —- the lifeblood of the company. Other responsibilities included P & L, vendor negotiation, metrics analysis, marketing and advertising.

PDC is a multimedia production company, and was the first company where I was employed in my actual field of interest. I was responsible for all of the audio that left the building—self-contained presentations, on-site productions and real-time voice work. I traveled the country, learned the value of working with speed and precision, and made many solid business contacts within the industry. Very valuable lessons for a college kid looking forward to the challenges life was to offer.
