Experienced Marketing Director with a skill for direct communication with customers and colleagues. I have experience working as a software product manager at a global software company. I was responsible for product feature requests and I actively worked with the engineering team to translate customer feedback into product innovations. I also facilitated the communication of product features to the Marketing team to coordinate our multi-million dollar advertising campaign. I actively participated in the branding and marketing of the products on a global scale through banners, print and other new marketing avenues. To understand our customers, I travel globally to trade shows and other events and engage directly with our customers and thought leaders.
I am currently the Sales & Marketing Director for Liquid Web Inc, a Web hosting and Data Center company in Lansing Michigan. I joined Liquid Web in March 2006 at which point they were a 30 employee 8mm/yr company. In my first year at Liquid Web, working with my team, I was able to rewrite the employee handbook, execute the first Trade Show, completed a company website redesign, the first customer newsletter, hired and formed the first sales department, established the first Microsoft partnership, first partnership w/ local employment agency for employee training assistance, hired 90 new employees (120total) and constantly break monthly revenue records since 2007. Executed a Grand Opening event which gained numerous television spots and news articles. Local recognition has tripled, national and global recognition has gained approximately 60% yearly based on Unique page views.
I was able to work with our support managers and the whole company to reduce our support times and improve our overall support quality. This is a tremendous benefit to Liquid Web as it establishes itself as a premier service provider in the highly competitive web hosting market.
