I am a self employed web designer living in Houston, TX. I create and maintain simple to use, elegant, standards compliant web sites and applications.

I've been building web sites since 1997. I focus on seamless integration of markup, presentation, and behavior, while maintaining a clear separation of each. I take great pride in both the design and the code and strive to maintain a clean presentation of both.

We are at a very exciting time in modern web design now. We have a lot of tools at our disposal that, if used properly, make for some amazing interactions. I pride myself in being able to use these tools effectively to present a clean, engaging, and simple to use interface.

I believe our industry is one where if you stop learning you lose your edge. I am always learning new ideas and methods. Whether it's a new book, a blog post, or just dissecting an interesting site, I'm a firm believer in continued education in one's industry.
