Hi, Adam Torkilson here.
Imagine this ...
You're trying to sell a new client on your services.
He's leaning towards “Yes” but not quite there.
So you show him a PR sheet with your business mentioned in media outlets like Forbes, Examiner, FOX News and Entrepreneur. These are not press releases. These are editorial articles written by contributing authors at each publication.
Or this …
A prospective client is researching your market online.
She bounces over to your main competitor's website. It's nice. Slick. Her curiosity is piqued.
Then she hops over to your site for a quick comparison. It also looks really good, but …
Your site prominently features an “As seen on CNN” graphic right there on the homepage.
Who do you think she's going to choose?
Who would you choose?
For better or worse, major media outlets carry a ton of authority in our culture, and if your business is rubbing shoulders with giants, well, you can bet your prospects will take notice.
Does that sound like something you might be interested in?
Now, normally this is where someone in my position would be winding up for the sales pitch.
But don't worry about that.
I'm not going to try to sell you on anything at all.
I'm simply going to say two more things and let you decide for yourself:
1. I'll get your business mentioned in your dream target publications. For no money up front. And for a lot less than you probably think.
2. You get guaranteed results or don't pay a thing. Not a penny.
Imagine … your branded content and links on some of the biggest websites in the world. Guaranteed.

All the best,

PS. When I say “guaranteed” I mean it. Your content and links on major media sites. Or there's no charge.
I enjoy doing a number of different things for companies and individuals. I consult, I write, I place clients in national media like Forbes, DeseretNews, Bloomberg, Fox News, and many others.
What sets me apart is that I understand and can write code, have built and run a number of my own media properties, and have taken investments and been in partnerships (some that failed, some that are still running today) that have given me a nearly 360 degree view of running a business from product sourcing to customer relationships.
Why is having this kind of experience important to me? Because I believe everything in life happens for a reason, and that the way you look at a situation is the only thing that determines if it was 'good' or 'bad'.
I worked mainly on building out additional service offerings for current and future Snapp clients, specifically things related to SEO and Social/Viral Marketing. The top secret tool I was working on is MyPRToolbox.com, I built, designed, and managed the whole thing.
I tried to satisfy my clients, whether that was ranking first for their pet keyword, getting them alot of traffic, making them more sales, or helping them understand that SEO is not a one time thing. I managed client campaigns for Dell, AlphaGraphics and a host of other smaller businesses. Out of a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say my clients are in the 9-10 range as far as being satisfied that their individual online goals are being met and exceeded.
I was in charge of optimizing our clients Web sites to come up to standard Web 2.0 criteria. I also posted, maintained, and developed the company blog. I wrote press releases for some of our non profit clients such as the Red Cross and American Fork City.
I edited the article submitted by the staff, put them on the site, and promoted the website via social networking and seo
I interned at 10x Media during the summer of 2006, and helped strategize a 6 month campaign for their new product for Real Estate Professionals. It never proved fruitful, 10x Media went under in September 2006
The 2nd greatest thing I've done in my life. The greatest thing I have ever done was to get married.
