Tony Tong’s Summary

I am currently working at Redwood Custom Communications as a web developer.

Before I joined Redwood CC,I was a senior user interface developer at Infinite Media, a media production firm. My team design and develop corporation internal web sites and web applications in .NET 2.0 environment. I've invloved in web application development for marketing communication portal, online digital library, documents sharing system, CMS and other corporation web sites. Those applications were used by major corporation clients such as Rogers, Xerox, Accenture, ScotiaBank and TTC etc.

Before I moved to Toronto, I worked at a financial services firm, Ilios Partners LLC, as Programmer Analyst in New York city. My team maintains a Contact Relationship Management (CRM) type of application, which is specially designed for companies' investor relations' personnel to establish and manage healthy communication with institutional shareholders. Our clients include GE, Comcast, Coca Cola and Yahoo.

Before I joined in Ilios Partners LLC, I worked as an Web Technology Consultant. I helped local business owners to create their business websites by integrating their business strategies into the website design. In addition, I was awarded several contracts by professional media firms including GlobalWorks, Leadership Directories, Career Corner TV Corp, and Group IV Graphics.

My first job was a project developer at Virtual University Design and Technology (VUDAT) at Michigan State University. We designed graduate level on-line courses based on professors’ requests. I was also in charge of updating on-line course contents, including lecture video shooting and post production.
