Until Oct 2008:
• Wrote and edited hardware and firmware documentation to support the Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH), Residential Gateway (RG), Wireline, and Enterprise Storage Division (ESD) programs, which shows how my strong communication skills can bridge a wide variety of technological spaces.
• Programmed VBA macros to convert legacy content from Word to DocBook XML, and sourced the Mif2Go plug-in to convert unstructured FrameMaker files to DITA XML, which demonstrates my desire to automate repetitive processes to minimize effort and reduce potential for errors.
• Created a web-based application, (built on the ExtJS JavaScript framework), that loaded a custom DITA output from the Bluestream XDocs CMS, to produce interactive content in a table, which shows that I adopt the manager’s vision as my own in order to make it a reality.
• Engaged development teams throughout North America, Shanghai, and Israel, a process that shows my sensitivity to cross-cultural issues, and my ability to build rapport with remote co-workers.

• Document conversion: Updated VBA macros that convert Word to DocBook XML to be compatible with Word 2007, andCreated a VBA macro to export cross-browser, W3C compliant SVG images from Visio.
• Eclipse info center upgrades: Added XHTML, CSS, and jQuery user interaction with roll up sidebars, expandable content areas, pop up video players, watermarks that display when printed, and a MediaWiki-based feedback system.
