I'm an applied linguist with a primary research interest in organizational discourse. My PhD is an ethnographic account of business reporters' sourcing practices. Using a methodological mix of newsroom ethnography and keystroke logging, I document how business journalists write from (corporate) sources.
Other research interests include discourse analysis, LSP and language assessment. I have taught undergraduate business English and English composition courses at two Flemish universities. I am a native speaker of Dutch, a CPE C2 certified speaker of English and have lower degrees of competence in French, German and Spanish.
